Fairwürzer S.C. was founded in September 2009 by thirteen students of Fontys Internationale Hogeschool Economie in Venlo.
This project which runs during the third and fourth semester of the students’ economically orientated study programs International Marketing, International Business Economics and International Business Management Studies, comprises the development, production and marketing of a self chosen product. In cooperation with FIHE and under the patronage of the Dutch trust Jong Ondernemen the students have the opportunity to exercise their own entrepreneurship. This is to target the practical exertion of the theoretically learned knowledge. Not only the implementation of the gained skills but also the extension of the social and communicative skills within the mini company play an important, work-related role.
The start-up capital of this company is generated through the sale of shares to potential shareholders, who afterwards participate in the profit.
